Alexander O. Lichtner

Alexander O. Lichtner, while not technically a member of our staff in his capacity as an attorney “of counsel,” performs work on many of our personal injury lawsuits in Sacramento and special projects for our office.

Alex received his J.D. from the University of California at Davis Law School in 1978 and Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California at Santa Cruz.  While in law school he received American Jurisprudence awards in Torts and Marital Property and was selected to the Traynor Cup Competition Moot Court Team. 

Since 1980 he has specialized in civil litigation with emphases in Personal Injury, Professional Liability, Insurance, and General Civil Law. He is or has been a member of the arbitration panels in El Dorado, Sacramento, Solano, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba Counties and has acted as both a private and court-appointed arbitrator.

He is also a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, California Consumer Attorneys, and Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association. Alex was a VISTA volunteer with the Housing Authority of the County of Santa Cruz in 1974-5 and Head Coach of Channel Island Aquatics in Oxnard, California in 1983.

His is interested in reading, movies, music, and many sports, including basketball, track and field, bicycling, swimming and triathlon.
